Terms

The conditions for renting a slot. Written in plain language on purpose: a condition the client never read works in nobody's favour.

This document is being prepared for launch. Legal details and a contact address will be stated here before we take the first payment. Everything below is how the service actually works, and the system already enforces it.

1. What we provide

We rent out a slot — a physical seat for an eSIM: a 4G modem with an adapter in our rack. We are not a carrier, we own no numbers and we sell no eSIMs. You bring your own profile.

One profile cell is included in the rental. Extra cells are a separate product; prices are on the pricing page. Until we have measured the adapter's limit on our own bench, we guarantee 3 profiles per slot.

2. Term and payment

3. Releasing a slot early

You can release a slot at any time. The paid but unused remainder of the term is not refunded. The reason is straightforward: the slot was held by you the whole time and was not sold to anyone else — the cost on our side is already incurred.

This covers everything paid for by term: the slot rental and any extra profile cells bought for the same term. The one-off setup fee is not refunded either — it pays for setting you up in the system, and that has already happened.

There is no refund for an unused term, neither automatically nor on request. We say so outright rather than “as a general rule”: a hint at a possible exception creates an expectation we do not intend to meet. A separate case is compensation for a fault of ours: broken hardware, a slot standing idle, our mistake. That is not a refund for the term — a member of our staff assigns it as an explicit amount, and it appears in your operation log with a reason.

4. What happens to your profile after the rental

The profile is not wiped from the chip straight away. For 3 days after the rental ends the slot is not sold to anyone and the profile stays where it is. In that window you can extend the rental, ask your carrier to reissue the QR, or buy the adapter.

After that the slot is wiped and the profile is removed from the chip for good. The slot goes back on sale only once the wipe is confirmed: the next client must not inherit someone else's profiles.

Your message history stays available to you after the rental ends, within the overall retention period of 183 days.

5. Limits of responsibility

6. What we do not provide

7. Data

What we store, for how long and which staff can see it is a separate document: the data policy. The periods named there are the ones automatic deletion actually runs on.
