You pay for the slot itself, not for the number of messages. The shortest term is a week; the longer the term, the cheaper it works out. Payment in advance only, in cryptocurrency; no cards.

The setup fee is charged once, with your first slot rental.
Profiles on a slot
A slot and a profile cell are two different products. A slot gives one active connection — a limit of the chip. Cells are room for profiles on the same adapter: you can switch between them without touching the hardware.
Profiles are bought one at a time, not in bundles, and each next one costs less than the last. The first is included in the rental and costs nothing. Switching the active profile and deleting one are free, as often as you like.
